Hey... Tullycraft are just the best like, personally I think they stand above MOST of the other stuff by a long way. Been one of my faves for nearly ten years or some such. I'd feel like a dope if I recommened a load of stuff and that was, like, all the obvious stuff, but I've mostly gotten into a lot of the twee/indie pop stuff from listening to Tullycraft radio on here, and their website where they chuck up mp3's all the time. One of them that sticks in my head as being really good is Fishboy. I'm enjoying listening to Milky Wimpshake a fair bit, who are from over here, like, but worth a blast. Do you ever listen to Even As We Speak, an Australian band for the 80's? The two albums I have, which I think both might be compilations, are a treat.

regarding your comment on the death cab page: "@sarahrebekah: I like the transition all the way through from Tiny Vessels, but I also like how the entire album almost takes you on the journey, it has ups and downs like a rollercoaster and all the songs regardless of direct progression seem perfect where they are in the album - That's why I feel Transatlanticism is the best album." I agree wholeheartedly. I think Transatlanticism is my favorite, but only by a small amount. Photo album is really touching lyrically, especially at this time in my life, when I'm graduating and leaving my hometown. Plans will always have a special place in my heart, but I've "outgrown" it a little bit, for lack of a better word. But to me, Transatlanticism is absolutely beautiful, musically, lyrically AND it takes you on an emotional journey.

I just think if you're about to publicly criticize an artist in front of their fans, you should at least make a serious attempt. Playing the gay and autotune card is not the way to go, we all know he's not gay and he autotunes. But he's actually one of the people that can use Autotune to make good music, not like Ke$ha, for example, which must be high every time she records a studio song and that's they only way to save her career... I'm generally open minded to music, but we have to know when to draw the line. Sure, I don't love everything out there, no one does, but what we don't like we should point out with offending the person in question. Stating Owl City's music sucks because he doesn't do this or that is one thing, but saying it sucks because he's a "closet gay" and comparing him to Bieber is not the way to mark your point.

Read your comments and wanted to point out something. For starters: 1) Welcome to 10s decade, enjoy your stay; 2) Adam Young is not gay, Bieber has a higher chance of being gay than him. So if a girl can write bubblegum pop she's not lesbian (Katy Perry, I'm looking at you), but if a guy mentions anything between those lines and from a completely different genre, he's immediately queer?!; 3) I'm not a fan of rap, but even I can see Eminem is a genius. He's the only rapper out there today that has a good voice and can actually beat the crap out of wannabees like Lil' Wayne. Linkin Park is okay, like you said, we agree on that point; 4) Read point 2; 5) Everyone knows Bieber is crap? Oh, wow, try telling that to the millions of 'Beliebers' who think he's God biggest creation. Sure, they might be prepubescent fangirls with no musical taste, but Bieber isn't that bad. I can name a lot of artists today that are worse. And don't even compare Adam to Bieber. -c-
