Damn 20 days , i thought i was hardcore haha. Well yeah, it was hard to stay motivated to do uni work at home, home is chill time. Ya i fly back on the 26th, have to self isolate for two weeks , but after 8 weeks of being cooped up inside, i'm sure two more weeks wont hurt. It sucks to hear your trip got cancelled, id love to go to Japan and South Korea, i almost did my international studies in Seoul actually.

Well uni was switched to online learning, that kept me busy until the end of April. In Canada at the moment, was supposed to travel this summer, but can't with covid 19, so traveling back home to Ireland soon. So its kind of fracked with my plans. But yes, your right, its great time to catch up on music, so much stuff to check out, especially cos i was buried in the books for about 8 months!

Yeah she has become so popular in the last three months and I hope not to get tired of the hype surrounding her because she is damn cool... For the ticket I would have given it to you but I've already given it to my friend. I planned to go with him at first (he is working in London) but I cannot anymore so he's going with someone else. Sorry :x The tickets haven't sold out yet anyway, have they? I'm a student in Project Management specializing in Sustainable Development. Yeah it is as boring as it sounds but I hope I can get a job that's gonna make me think I'm useful to this world... And you, what do you study? And yeah, Björk's albums really deserve full attention and good quality sound so you better listen Vulnicura when you're best prepared :p

Perhaps we "eye contacted" each other without knowing, hehe. Well, I regret I cannot make it to London this time cause I've got such a great memory of this show... I've seen TRUST in Paris twice and once in Brussels but the sound systems were far from being as good as the XOXO's. It was just perfect for me. I wanted to go see FKA twigs in Paris, but I'm afraid my schedule's gonna be too tight around that time of year to be able to go the capital... (being a student in their final year of master's degree is so uncool for your social life) :( I have finally listened to Vulnicura and I must admit it's gonna take more than one listen before the album starts grow in me. The song I love the most is Stone Milker, it's such a beautiful opening track. Black Lake is an obvious single, and it's beautiful. The break is very cool, but I really feel they put it to make it sounds like "Hey! Arca's been part of the production too!" But, anyway, I love Björk, so I don't care :D

Nope, haven't got the time yet! Yeah banks is great. I've seen that you scrobbled Stick a lot, I love this one, especially around the end of the song when the trumpet (is it?) starts playing. oh yeah for trust, well... I had my tickets for London but I can't go anymore cause I'm flying to Madrid instead. I would love to make it to Barcelona as I had planned to but I'm not on my own so the choice is not only mine to make. Are you seeing Trust in London? I went to XOXO last year, and it was the best live of trust I've been to

Well, I listened to it yesterday evasively so I have to pay closer attention, no song really struck me. As for BANKS, umm, I really love the record as a whole (the deluxe version). I fell in love with her when I first heard Drowning. Brain, Begging for Thread Before I Met You. I also love very much Warm Water... And then if you like them all, then just listen to the album because it's so cool!

If you like Colleen (thanks for the discovery, i'm very sensitive to her music, it's beautiful, gracious, and soothing) then you may like EZ3kiel, a French band as well, and that sounds pretty much like Colleen with more harmonics and electronic sounds and melodic weird noises. It's wonderful as well, I've had the chance to see them twice live and it really took me up.

I'm a little on the fence about her new album. She's definitely taken a very different turn from The Entire City and Mammal, and I'm trying really hard to break its shell and absorb it. I had a similar experience with The Knife's final album.
