I never did reply. You're right, they definitely weren't suited to that bill, specially since a lot of Trivium fans are the 'foppish' kids. After seeing Ghost at Hellfest and seeing the type of people on the internet that bum them it's definitely the same fans of the more extreme genres ie. black, doom, thrash etc

Ooh, I wanted to go see Henry Rollins but can't, thus I'm terribly jealous of you.

Sounds a good week, indeed! The gigs had different atmospheres.. Glasgow had lots of very chatty people. Manc had a bigger moshpit and lots of enthusiasm, but no one knew the older songs.. think I preferred the Glasgow gig 'cos it was much friendlier.

Ooh, yep.. really enjoyed it, still have the bruises though! I can see why people say it's a really nice venue, too.

If I fall on my ass at the Carling Academy at this forthcoming gig due to the floor being sloped and usually wringing, and my dubious choice in footwear, I shall not be amused!

So I hear! Bouncy floors are always fun.. the Ritz in Manchester has a particularly good one, too. Looking forward to the gig, anyway.

Ahh, ta. Yeah, my playlist is getting a bit silly.. As for Glasgow.. fancy a change of scenery for a few days. And I'm sick of people telling me what a good venue the Barrowlands is, so should probably check for meself. :)
