Hello, depends what you like. My top picks to start with would be: Wenn der Sudwind Weht (lo-fi electronic melodies), La Nordica (dark ambient), Fruhling (also called "Romance in the Wilderness" - electro-jazz), Lustwandel (ambient piano and organ), Lunz (with Tim Story - modern ambient/new age) Drauf und Dran (recently released solo piano album) but there are loads of fantastic albums to find!

I recently got Congratulacion, which is fantastic and really nothing like any other music I've ever hear. Also recommend Con (a.k.a. Ballet Statique) and the privately released 00/293 "IndustrialSpace". You can buy that at his website, http://fancymoon.com/con_s/conjin2/00-291.shtml

Hi there, I left you a question here, http://www.last.fm/music/Klaus+Dinger/Krautrock+Essentials but you're unlikely to see it without this prompt. Great library!

Hi! About four and a half years ago, you left a shout on Gavin Bryars' "Sinking of the Titanic", and apart from my slight preference for that piece over "Jesus Blood...." my feelings are exactly the same as yours. Do you know the much longer version by Philip Jeck with gavin Bryars, now that one will make you weepy. Nice library, by the way, plenty of great European (I hesitate to say krautrock) music. Cheers, Bob

Im not sure who all is playing with him but there are dates on the NEU! page. Yeah I agree with you about the intent I've been getting a lot of influence out of those NEU! albums for my own recordings lately. I have "viva" and "la dusseldorf" by la dusseldort what other dinger projects and albums do you recc.?

Nein, dann hast du Spaß und ich Pickel auf der Zunge! ... Sorry, aber den Spruch konnt ich mir auf deinen Avatarspruch nicht verkneifen. Musste einfach getippt werden. (Nicht böse sein.)

alright, didn't know that. i'm curious cause right now i'm exploring krautrock a bit more, beyond neu! and can. so i guess that makes him an asshole - but if you look at it from a distance it really doesn't matter, don't you think? because after all, all that counts is the music made by them. on another note, did you check out "BEAK>"?, Geoff Barrow's krautrock(ish) band? anyway, this is a completely underrated genre of music and oddly it's completely unknown in the country it originates from.

No problem. I see now that it actually updates by itself so it's fine as is. Keep on with the Kosmische!

Could I ask you how to properly embed an album collage? I haven't quite got it.

Oh my god, according to my charts I've played the Beatles more times than La D. We shall have to sort that out. In fact, I dont remember listening to them THAT much. Maybe someone hacked last.fm when the Beatles remasters were out and made every beatles scrobble worth double, who knows. I mean, I've been listening to the Beatles for, ooh, all of 2 months and La D. for the best part of two years, can't be right.

I would like to hear the music you make that surpasses this "swine" though. Because a lot of good musicians are total pricks. Whether or not Dinger is the superior man, Rother is still a force to be reckoned with.

Dilema on my hands; I want to buy a pop CD, but am stuck between Sgt. Pepper's by The Beatles and Peel Sessions by The Teardrop Explodes, anyone reading this got a solution to my agonising choice?

If I was in a band with someone who died I wouldn't talk shit about them but just because someone dies doesn't make them golden and untouchable. I think it'd be worse for him to act like they were best friends in the world.

hi! saw your comment about Eno's biography by David Sheppard, i'll buy it, thanks. but have you heard about other book about Eno by Geeta Dayal? (Another Green World) just wonder - is it good book or no. also, there is Eno's diary book (A Year with Swollen Appendices), but i guees, it is very hard to find (and maybe very expensive)
