I laughed at your description, because I am now imagining a Dinosaur with headphones. He must have listened to ROCK or QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. haha. I'll see myself out 🤣

The Deftones influence is ridiculous sometimes, look at Nerv/Seele. With your apparent love of killer hooks and choruses I feel I should push FACT as a band to check out. Most of their stuff's post-hardcore, but they throw in a few curve balls (especially on the self titled debut) that keep it fresh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCZqrlX3QX0

Yeh, it's just been going downhill due to singing for years with a poor technique. A real shame, he used to have such a good voice. I'm a big Fightstar fan, on of the best gigs I've ever been to due to the hordes of teenage Busted fans! They were terrified of the pit, it was brilliant. :P They've only grown more diverse over their career, with Be Human packing radio rock as well as more punchier tracks, and I can't wait for them to return to the studio.

I enjoyed the new album, it certainly bristles with vigour and a sense of urgency. But its strength is also its weakness, I missed the variety and dynamics found on their other records. Matt's voice is really beginning to struggle as well. I am so stoked the Sempiternal, managed to convert a few of my hater friends on the strength of Shadow Moses. I can't get to any of the dates on the subsequent tour though which blows. :(

Sorry it took me so long to reply! Yeah, that's also a reason why my friend and I go to Warped, to see BMTH and enjoy it to the fullest. Last year we've seen them 3 times, but weren't fond of them at all. Actually, during the first gig, we left at some point, STUPID! Now we love BMTH, I don't know what happened, hahaha. MO'Club should be cool! From outside it doesn't look very big, but do you know how many people fit in there? It's unbelievable it's only a month away now, but first Architects in Germany at the end of October, and also some Bury Tomorrow, yes! :)

Hey! Just a quick note that I really like your charts ;D And you're going to the same Architects gig (and Warped Tour)! Can't wait to see them with Bury Tomorrow, 2 of my fav bands out there! Also I take it from your comment on the Architects shoutbox you don't like Hollow Crown that much? That's very rare to hear ;)

Hey thnx for accepting my add. I see your comment on the shoutboxes for a lot of the bands I'm inot and I agree with like 90% of what you say. I figure that's a good enough reason for an add. There are so many ass holes on this site...

It's ridiculous how some people call themselves "musically mature" and act like that, as if the bands automatically lose their essence once they become popular. I believe La Dispute still has it and will have for a while now.

I saw one of your comments on La Dispute's page and thought it was actually really nice what you said so I hit the add button ha (:

Amy Winehouse is really amazing, her music had a lot of soul which gave her a really raw sound.

I see. "Count Your Blessings" was the first their album which I listened to. I loved "Pray for Plagues". Then, I loved their other songs and albums. But I didn't love their "There Is A Hell". I just very like it, but not love. ;]

Yep. Look, I prefer CYB because it's very heavy album. CYB is harder than other CDs from BMtH. I love all of songs from CYB. I don't like all of tracks from "TIAH". That's all. I prefer old BMtH. And what about you?

I come to you with a U-turn. I'd only listened to Daybreaker through once when I wrote the last post, so I sat down with the hi-fi, the lyrics book, my full attention and gave Daybreaker another couple of listens. There is more to it, and it is a more accomplished and varied album. It's a very different album to Hollow Crown though, and regardless of preference it's nice to see the band evolving and challenging themselves. The Here And Now could have that said about it too but suffered from a large lack of focus, and as a follow up to Hollow Crown it just made no sense.
