я не боюсь пробовать новое, в любом случае даже если кому-то что-то зашло, но так и вышло практически сразу :)

There is just something more homely and wholesome about being in a village that small, with or without internet. I'm the introverted type, so I am in love with the idea that I wouldn't feel so overwhelmed with having to remember a new face every day, or deal with second hand drama as I walk down the streets. Internet may be a problem in such a small village, but maybe we can get a reaallly long internet cable that hooks into the neighboring town? That is if the scavengers don't mistake it for the world's longest worm! :o

Sounds like a nice balance to me! I live urban as well. Might have to do a bit of traveling to look for some smaller villages, but not too far from my home is a nice biking trail that extends through several states. I've been down there a few times, it's definitely more calm than the city life. If transportation wasn't an issue, I may just prefer that kind of quiet life.

I thought so! It was kind of like a superhero origin film, but grounded in reality. Split somewhat had the same feel, except instead of a superhero you are presented the backstory of a supervillian. Then Glass is supposed to join the characters from both movies. So I'm already stoked for it. I enjoyed your photos on DA, I'll be sure to pop in every once in a while. I do love the settings in your photos, I find it very scenic and peaceful. I take it you live in a rural area?

Thank you very much for the suggestions, I will keep them saved for later. I'll let you know what I think when I get around to them. I did watch Split for the first time earlier in the day, which I enjoyed (the cinematic score was also fantastic). Prior to watching it, I watched Unbreakable right before since I heard the two films were connected and I hadn't seen that one either. Well, it definitely paid off and now I'm looking forward to "Glass." Oh, do you have your DA up on your about.me sit? I must've missed it. I did see your Facebook linked there, I'll add you in a bit. :D

That is very sweet of you to say, thank you! ❤ I haven't had much time or motivation to get back into the swing of cooking, but i'm sure my time will come again soon when things settle. It helps that that was a bright period in my life though. :) Yes! You should absolutely upload your drawings there when you can. I also used this other site for my old drawings like 10 years ago DeviantArt, which I think may be more suitable for your drawings since it's more art-oriented, backed with an enormous community of other artists and art enthusiasts. I think you'd like it there. Oh that's a bummer! I'm sure that is so not true though, how would I know if I liked/didn't like a show if I didn't give it a chance? With that said, i'm open to any Russian/Ukranian film recommendations regardless of whether or not they have English subtitles, especially if you know of any swell horror.

Well that seals it, I'll have to make it a priority to watch Swiss Army Man! I could use a good laugh. Lately, I've just been on the hunt for movies that I've read mentioned as being bleak, or depressive. Stuff like Eden Lake, The Girl Next Door, We Need to Talk About Kevin, and so on. Those were all fine movies imo. But man, I sure could use a little bit of laughter after all of that!

Absolutely! I find baking to be a lot of fun and therapeutic during stressful times. Plus, there's nothing quite like the self reward of eating some kind of delicious delicacy. At one point I was very much into it, so much so that I challenged myself to try out a new recipe each day. I used to have some photos on my instagram, but I've since deleted them in favor of keeping a consistent theme of music. I still have an album of my older works here: https://m.imgur.com/a/CGg5O I would love to see some photos of your cuisine if you have any :) I wonder if those Russian cooking shows have English subtitles for people like me? I mean, there would be nothing like learning foreign recipes straight from the source. I'm open to taking a language course if it comes down to it. Well, maybe 😛

Oh, Swiss Army Man! I remember seeing previews for it some time ago and thought it was hilarious. The comedy from those trailers reminded me of the kind from the film "Teeth." Speaking of horror, while not exactly Russian but still a damn good film, have you heard of "The Enemy" (Neprijatelj)? It's a war drama/horror with a great mystique behind it. I can't talk too much about it without spoiling the premise, so I'll just leave it at that. :) That would be awesome, maybe you can find a recipe for happy bagels and baguettes to compliment your happy bread loaves! I've fallen off the wagon as far as Hell's Kitchen and all those shows go. After a certain point, the US series becomes tiresome with those dramatic quick cuts and music cues. But it's an otherwise enjoyable show with many foods to ogle over. Do you do much cooking/baking of your own, or do you just leave that up to the pen and paper? 😛

The struggle is real, eh? Yeah I do too, movies, TV, music, and it never ends! What have you been watching lately, and what's next on your list? I recently got through a string of horror flicks and will probably be giving Stranger Things a watch soon. There's also a bunch of Gordon Ramsay's shows I plan on getting around to, if you're at all familiar with him. Your works are so much fun btw! I LOVE the one with the happy kitties and breads, too adorable. The eye is very well done, loving the lash details. I like how you can be both serious and playful whenever you want, you've got style 👌Where do your inspirations come from? Does your area not normally get snow? Winter as actually pretty mild this year. I remember how a few years ago when the city's major rivers completely froze over, along with copious amounts of snow. It was a sight to behold, and I was almost tempted to try skating over it 😛

I realized I still have a shit ton of music to listen through so I migrated back here for a while. Instagram still lingers in my mind though. :D anyways, I've been peachy. It's been raining a lot over here, but I find it soothing when the air is not 10c. Summer vacation sounds like a whole lot of fun! Where will you be going? And what kind of art have you been working on? I've noticed that you have rated many art-related tutorials and such on your Goodreads, I'm surprised that you haven't been pumping out drawings left and right on instagram! :p
