Well, if u read everything so far, thanks a lot anyway ^^ if in any case u like it and would like to support my work/see more covers, i have a facebook page which you can join (www.facebook.com/possesswithin) and sorry again, I DO know how boring it is... On November 28 - 30, 1973, Bernard Herrmann conducted the National Philharmonic Orchestra in London, re-recording suites from four films he had already scored the soundtracks for: Journey To The Center Of The Earth, The Seventh Voyage Of Sinbad, The Day The Earth Stood Still, and Fahrenheit 451. This recording was originally released on an LP in 1974 titled: "The Fantasy Film World of Bernard Herrmann". It had several later releases on CD. This recording can now be obtained through a release titled "Great Film Music" through Arkiv Music. The CD's catalog # is LON 443 899-2. Also on that CD are excerpts from "Gulliver's Travels". My favorite section from the recording is from "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad". The "Overture" is just atounding ! And "Baghdad" is mesmerizing. Any Herrmann fan should own this recording, imo !
