I'm really sorry you haven't had any watermelon since 2004. Must be really tough.

Thanks dude! I'm happy to give any recommendations of groups your interested in, stream away! (looks like some of your recent tracks are from my play list haha!). Yeah, some stuff after from chaos I've liked, but do still like their whole first decade of official records.

nice to meet ya dude! I grew up listening to 311 since 1995 when the self-titled album got huge, saw them again a few months ago, they're still as fun as ever :D I'm a big fan of the music - from chaos era.

Have you heard Little Brother by 311? It's apparently a track left off of DTOM. Lots of SA, that's never bad.

...damn, maybe I'll try out a little bit of exercise. I'm a big dude, so it can't hurt.

I know Evolver is your least favorite, it's my least favorite too, but damn Creatures is a good song. One of my favorites, even.

Slightly Stoopid were good, I'd never heard them before. As soon as Down started, I realized my fiance and I were in the middle of a pit, and I didn't get to hear much of it because I was busy getting us to somewhere a bit safer. After that, though, it was easily the best concert I've ever seen. Nick jumped seriously as high as the fucking mic stand repeatedly, I didn't realize those dudes were THAT energetic. I would've liked to hear Hive, but otherwise I was super satisfied with the setlist. Also, the amount of pot everywhere was insane.

Hey man how's it going? I've been listening to tons of 311 lately, and I'm starting to understand why they're your top artist by a long shot. I really can't think of any other band who mixes genres like they do, and make it all sound in one compact groove. Listening to them is like dipping into a flavor sauce, so chill but at the same time it expands your mind... Any news on Ian? Man I so wish On the Speakers could've prospered, that band just had tons of heart. It was like the perfect combination of I become small and go and taking back the universe. Indie AND Big Guitars. Perfect combo....

Your musical compatibility with Force_of_Will is Very High Music you have in common includes Operation Ivy, Beastie Boys, Deftones, The Kinks and Pearl Jam. Nice taste :) Wanna add me? R.I.P. MCA, too soon is right :( I get the strangest feeling every time I listen to a beastie boys song now.

I'm a newbie. I've been down since Bang! Pow! Boom! came out. I've heard everything they've put out though, and god damn do I love it. Their music is so much fun, they don't deserve all that hate.

I've read it 3-4 times, it was really interesting to see albums broken down like that.

In your review of all of the 311 albums, you said that "Frolic Room" has a reference to a beloved 311 song. Which one did you have in mind? That song has at least three references that I found - The title comes from Guns (are for Pussies), the riff at 1:51 sounds like the Misdirected Hostility riff, and then it mentions "Stealing Happy Hours".

Dude, I hear ya. Losing a pet is rough. My dog died the day I started a new job, and I didn't know what to do with myself. I'll probably get to the music stuff this weekend.

I will do so soon, and maybe some other albums I think you might like. Which M Ward and Matt Nathanson albums do you have so far? As soon as I feel better, that will be my project. Right now I feel like I have the plague.

YOU MADE IT A GIF! That's what's up. I've come to the conclusion that about 95% of 311 fans are potheads too.

Well, ICP being in the mix isn't so much annoying as it is fucking hilarious, imo.

You have 8 times as many plays for My Stoney Baby than I have for all of 311.
