It doesn't :) I read that you worked with Greg Chandler. Really nice... Did you travel to the UK for that?

Hey, it's good to hear from you again . I'm good, basically doing the same as my brother down there V (him and I are twin brothers) . I am also a father, my son is going to be a year old soon, so I am definitely excited for that. Aside from work and parenting, I've been listening to lots of music (Doom Metal, of course !) . I saw the news on the Solitude Productions website, definitely an album I am looking forward to hearing ! How are things going with you and the band ? Does Station Dysthymia ever play gigs ?

hey, it sure has been awhile. I have been good, just three months into fatherhood. enjoying it so far. That is fucking awesome, I can't wait to hear it! and yes, Ennui is amazing. Them and the band they share one member with, No Regrets, are two of my current favorites. have you heard No Regrets?

Oh, this sucks seriously. I also want to go there one day (from my hometow it's only a few hours) but imagine, none of my friends is enough into this kind of stuff to come with me... but the good thing is that you know the line-up will be as awesome again next year ;)

nice, same here! Colosseum's works are some of the best in the genre. It's a shame that the Yearning albums are so expensive to buy, they would be a great addition to my collection of colosseum cd's. I would recommend you start chronologically. the first album "With Tragedies Adorned" is my personal favorite

oh man...Yearning is some seriously breath taking doom. I'm sure you're familiar with Colosseum and Juhani's(RIP) excellent touch for song writing. Yearning was his first band, and though much more in a different direction from colosseum, it possesses that same level of talent..truly amazing and HIGHLY recommended!

I love Sludge, so I'm curious to see how they sound without any hints of Funeral Doom in their music . No problem, their album is definitely a good one ! Much like my brother, I am an admirer of Slavic Black Metal and Doom Metal , so I had to give it a listen when I read about the relation to WDISS and Abstract Spirit !

Hey, I was wondering if you heard the new Reido album yet . I've read that they changed their direction on this album to a more Sludge/Math Metal direction .

I see your point, I did enjoy the WDISS part of the split, but the material doesn't seem as strong as their full length . That album really blew me away, hearing "Leave Me" and "Möbius Ring" for the very first time was definitely a compelling listening experience ! I didn't realize that WDISS and Station Dysthymia were related... intriguing . I enjoyed "Only Gray Days", it was a very nice album , one that only reinforces my love of Doom Metal from Slavic countries . As for the Mare Infinitum album, definitely give it a listen . I liked it quit a bit, the atmosphere is very nice, and the vocals are very well performed !

I thought it was a very good split . Both bands offered very strong material, and it has given me some incentive to look deeper into the music of Ego Depths . I must admit, I am not so familiar with that project, though I have listened to the "Equilibrium Sickness" album . As for WDISS, they were the band who drew me into giving the split a listen . I'm a big fan of theirs, and I have enjoyed their album many, many times . How did you like the split ? Are you at all familiar with the Mare Infinitum album ?

nice, i enjoy what i've heard of dolorian, though i must admit, i haven't taken much of a dive into their material. Colosseum and Shape of Despair are two of my favorites, as well as Wormphlegm, Tyranny, Skepticism, Thergothon, etc. Yes, you guys convey the feeling well through your compositions...speaking of which, is there any physical copies of your album anywhere? i would certainly buy a copy! I see, i understand the scene out there must look very different to your eyes, especially considering that some of these bands wear their influences on their sleeves..needless to say, i really enjoy all i;ve heard from russia. my brother is a fan of Reido, he also recommended them to me. i havent heard it yet though, will do soon. And i find Vo Skorbyah to be something very interesting. I first discovered them through their relation to the band Temnozor..

indeed, the concept behind your band is something i find unique. Though I don't reside in a very metropolitan area, the grey smog in the sky, trash in the gutters, the hopelessness that comes with such an urban, colonized environment is a concept i can understand well. My very favorites in the genre of doom come from finland and your country. Many would argue the finnish metal scene in general to be undisputedly potent and seldomly matched or challenged, but i feel russia has carved it's own niche in doom metal, and is right up there with all the highest regarded, most talented stuff. I've been obsessed with comatose vigil and septic mind's new albums, as well as kauan, abstract spirit, mare infinitum and the extinct dreams.

:D I only tried Worhsip Your Demons so far, because everytime I had the idea to check out the actual rest of what everyone's wailing about, I would rather feel like trying another older song of theirs.

Awesome xD Yeah I'm consequently ignoring that album, too. It didn't hit me that hard though because I've only been listening to death metal for one year and it was already out when I discovered them ;) But I can imagine it must have been awful.
