Not that interesting, Listened to this artist once in November and decided not to explore them further.

I still get confused sometimes when it looks like you are not among my friends who listen to an artist, as was the case on this one. I was getting into it at first, but, as it went on, I got kind of bored with it

Are you using the "Listeners You Know" feature on artist pages? If so, it doesn't show users with 1 Scrobble (I guess for performance reasons).

Not a fan of Gina, but I REALLY like Enemy Inside. One of the better Female-Fronted Metal bands I've listened to! Great vocals and guitars.

Thanks. I listened to their track "Break Free" a few days ago. It was OK - though the screaming in that song sounded pretty weird to me. I have a quick recommendation for you, too. Check out "Painting Rockets".

I agree, the screaming from that band was a bit of a turn off. I'm curious to see where they'll go from there. Painting Rockets sounds pretty cool so far.

I don't know if you'll like it, but "Stones" by ZiBBZ is super catchy. I've been listening to it quite a lot recently.

Oh, also Bryde's new song "On the Subject of Breathing" (probably my favourite track of the whole year) and maybe give Cryoshell another go with "Creeping in My Soul", "Feed" and their new track "Slipping" :)

new amaranthe was hit and miss for me. overall I'd say it is a very strong new record. some of the vocals (especially the guy) were a little too rough for my taste, but this is common in the genre.

Hmm. I don't like Amaranthe as much as I used to but I'll still give it a listen. Looking forward to the new Within Temptation album and I really liked the single they released recently, "The Reckoning". The music video for it was also pretty cool - although super weird.

I'm working today on my blog post for August. It's been a slow month, but there have been a few cool new records, the first one that comes to mind is the new one by The New Respects

A decent album by Thunderpussy. The first few tracks were great with Speed Queen, Fever, Velvet Noose. But the last half of the album wasn't as strong. Meg Myers' new album has some great songs on it. So far my favourites are "Tear Me To Pieces", "Jealous Sea" and "Done". Also, I like this song from Emma Elisabeth - https://www.last.fm/music/Emma+Elisabeth/_/Kiss+of+Gasoline

I found something very unique and interesting recently. It's Prog Rock/ Post-Rock with a script, story and voice acting. Like an audiobook mixed in with the music - or a short film for your ears. This album is a Scf-Fi/ Cyberpunk tale about a cop who undertakes a relentless search for the creature that killed her partner. Try this track to get an idea. https://www.last.fm/music/Hibernal/_/The+Pier

Were Glass Mansions previously called Death of Paris? Everything about them seems so familiar. I looked in my library and I've Scrobbled their album "Gossip" before under Death of Paris. I remember the track "Crushed" really well.

The singer was previously in Death of Paris. I don't think the rest of the lineup is the same, although there may be some other common members between the two bands.

I saw them live twice as Death of Paris. DOP basically broke up, I think, and they reformed as Glass Mansions. DOP was a more straight ahead rock sound, whereas GM has more pop threads

I like the new sound. Reminds me of Hey Violet and the way they also switched from an indie rock sound to more electronic pop.

Ledger is a nice find, and the Digital Criminals EP was good too. I don't have any new recommendations for you unless you want some Synthwave, Instrumental Metal, Post-rock or Chill-Hop because that's what I'm mostly listening to at the moment.

Ok. Most recently I enjoyed the new release from Coldbones "Where It All Began". I also have a tag page full of Post-Rock here (https://www.last.fm/user/James-Joul/tags/post-rock) and, of course, my 7,000 track Post-Rock Spotify playlist if you want to hear a nice selection on shuffle :)

I don't know if you've heard, but there's a new music page in development. It's currently available to subscribers but will be released to everyone when it's complete. It's like a central hub for everything music on Last.fm. Anyway, there's a dedicated recommendations section with 3 pages of personalised recommendations based on the music you've been listening to recently. You can now permanently dismiss artists you're not interested in and they'll never show up in your feed again. Better still, dismissed artists get replaced with new recommendations! I've been using it recently and it's pretty neat.

Hopefully soon. There are still a few things to work out. But, it's essentially the feature I've always wanted on Last.fm. A personalised recommendations page that you can refresh infinitely for more music!

I'm in the process of cleaning up my loved tracks and ditching this habit I've kept for too long. Loving every track I enjoy is not sustainable and feels like a chore now. Yesterday I removed 91,480 tracks! Now it's time to rebuild that list but only with tracks that are truly worthy :)

Very good, thanks for the recommendation. They sound familiar somehow. Like a cross between Tonight Alive and PVRIS. My headphones died a few days ago. I've already repaired them myself twice and soldered in some brand new cables but this time the left driver stopped working completely so I'm having to suffer with a Logitech G930 headset which is great for everything except music. I miss the sound quality so much!
