It very much is! I knew of The Smiths for almost a year before I knew the song existed since it is hardly mentioned, haha. Fortunately, I found it eventually. :D

Aaron Carter is really an underrated lyricist. His swagger is one that few rappers have matched.

No problem, it might be right up your alley. I see you like Ornette Coleman. The Shape of Jazz to Come is a great, great album.

It's not really about anything. He was one of the last of the Beats, and Trout Fishing is a bunch of page or two long anecdotes that are loosely connected together to form a story about his travels across that country. The absurdity of the anecdotes is at times pretty funny. I actually prefer his novel In Watermelon Sugar, though, it's a little more coherent. They're both pretty good, though.

I'll take that as a yes. I see you run the book club group, too. Have you read Richard Brautigan's Trout Fishing in America?

It's Martin Van Buren. I'm a fan of his hairstyle. I've heard Bunuel's The Exterminating Angel is pretty good, too. I haven't seen it though.

Yeah, it reminds me of Winston Smith's artwork for In God We Trust, Inc. by the Dead Kennedys.

Color me jealous. I also think I have a tagging addiction. How has your break been?

Beat Happening is so good. I also love Satie, but I don't have any of his music on this computer. I think I have Gnossienne No. 1. That might be it.

There's nothing wrong with that, either. Starting over is always amazingly refreshing.

No, I just like starting over every once in a while. Is that so wrong? WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, CONNOR?
