hey. that's funny; i was actually wondering, if i should leave a message, since your playlists are quite impressive (and last.fm says our musical compatibility is high :)). Last of the Winter Snow wouldn't be such a bad song title... ;) 6Music rocks. have a good week as well! x

Yo, how's tricks. Just popping a thanks for the minidisc. Boss as usual. I have a £15 HMV voucher burning a hole in my pocket so any chance of a tracklist? Especially tracks 5, 8, 9, 10. Only had the Frightened Rabbits one. Was there a TV on the Radio in there? Fleet Foxes? Anyhoo. Laters.

Hey I'm not too bad. Yeah I have that album in my car at the minute it's nice, though currently can't drive it anywhere as I think the starter motor's broke. I think I heard the Department of Eagles first on a Fleet Foxes 'pick their favourite songs' type affair so knew you'd definitely like it. Merry chrimbo 'an all x

Thanks, and likewise! Frightened Rabbit and Death Cab...that does sound like it would be quite a show.

Well, Jenny Lewis was excellent as ever - did plenty of stuff from RFC & 'Acid Tongue' itself was great. I'm still not convinced by the album though. (and she didn't make enough use of Johnathan Rice for my liking!)

Erm, I ended up getting pretty trashed in another bar so didn't actually make it to Blood Red Shoes. Saw Hot Club de Paris last night though and they were pretty good! So that sort of made up for it. Going to see Olafur Arnalds on Wednesday night I reckon, then Laura Marling/Malcolm Middleton next week. Can't wait!

Hey. Sorry for the delay in replying - randomly didn't straight away and then forgot :( I'm pretty good - still listening to bands with as many weird names as possible :) HIGH finance is pretty much fucked - glad I don't really qualify as "high" at this point :)

no problemo. can't wait, although i'm mostly looking forward to laura marling. i thought frightened rabbit were ace, but the set didn't really get me going much until 'the twist', after which i was bouncing along to every song. trying to decide whether or not to go to this thing at the lemon tree tonight.

Hey, Glad you like Frightened Rabbit - I made a point of seeing them at T in the Park and they were really good... so can't wait for Moshulu. I seen the Tiny Dancers at a festival in Loch Lomond - they were quite good live for the two or three songs that I caught. Hope you enjoy the gig at Cafe Drummonds. Cheers, Andy Mc

Hiya have a listen to the new album from Get Well Soon (Rest Now Weary Head You Will Get Well Soon). Couldn't figure out the new last.fm to recommend it. Have had a few listens now and growing to love more it each time. Few reminders of Radiohead in there but it's actually quite a nicely created mixture xx

i think you could possibly like them. i started with elephant shell, which i think is a great album, i havent stopped listening to it since i got it back in april. this is their only full length album to date i think, with the others only having 3 and 7 tracks on them. ive also seen them live, in may, and were amazing, great and all that jazz. id def start with elephant shell, or if you just want to hear tunes, id start with 'centennial' which is a great song in my opinion, i also like 'tessellate' which was their first single from the album. hope this is a good starting point!

haha, he is! i thought the video was really simple, but youre right, not sure if they really needed to make it into a single. what do you think of the album as a whole?

Hey. Yeah I really enjoyed the Caribou gig, Born Ruffians were fun if not familiar and Caribou attracted an interesting crowd, probably more down to the venue though. The opening support were good too, inspired to take up the drums but apparently my house mates aren't keen! Very tempting to squeeze a few more gigs in in the coming weeks but I'm supposed to be knuckling down...

Hey. Good to meet you too. The album version of Floods is different to the one from the Brew compilation. All the songs we did last night are from the new record. Rx

With a capital G, yes :P. The profile's not actually all that representative - my desktop PC mainly gets left on shuffle the whole time and I always forget to upload the stuff from my mp3 player.
