sorry to bother, but i was wondering if you'd be willing to share some early rare Steve Hauschildt releases if you had them? thought it wouldn't hurt to ask :/

I mainly DL'd it because it was loads of albums that I want to hear but haven't had the time for in one place. /mu/ in general has pretty bad taste. I think I have quite an entry-level taste but I like the idea of getting to know music that is looked up to by a lot of people first (although that doesn't speak for everything I DL'd obvs). My backlog is pretty huge now lel

autechre's a duo lol. amber is prob their most downtempo, "chill" album but I also suggest oversteps as a good entry point. the sound on oversteps is much more modern and streamlined their discog is huge but i'm making a flowchart of their albums and eps, i will link you when it's done

Ahh man, first time I listened to the Kilimanjaro s/t... soooo good. Nothing beats tracks like Lobby for just sitting around chilling at night. From the Stairwell is another great record of theirs. As for my taste, well I'm all over the place as you can see, but for black metal type stuff Wolves in the Throne Room is pretty easy listening. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDrJ5qOyXyg For hardcore I think neocrust makes for a good entry point, since it is still heavy, but also very catchy and melodic, so try something like Tragedy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8CwzYIPz7c

Mirroring is great. Everything Liz does is great. Have you heard Flash Lights - Eckords? another of her collabs

Oh yeah, I've heard Capri before, but I actually haven't heard any other albums from them. What are your recommended next steps? The story of Celer is actually kind of sad. It was a husband/wife duo, and the wife passed away a few years ago, and the guy still makes music under the same moniker :(

It's a fun word to say. I'm not a fan of spelling it out though. I think it could look a lot more fun.

Oh, and check out Northern if you haven't already. The same guys, making very similar ambient. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Iytsz-BoA8

Helll yess, some of the best ambient to come out in the recent years. I've listened the hell out of Always in Postscript and Echo Park both and I cannot wait for something new.
