Thank you! It sounds amazing. Hopefully I will see them some time in the near future. Moving to Toronto from Sweden in June, if I'm lucky they'll come back.

Yup the pics and video did a decent job of capturing that night. That was definitely one of the more entertaining shows I've been to this year. I watched a video of theirs when they played Sonic Boom and I remember the majority of people keeping a safe distance from the band and acting pretty disconnected -- it was nice to see everyone being more interactive on Saturday. I didn't end up joining them in the men's bathroom though :P I tend to limit the amount of time I spend in that part of Sneaky Dee's to an absolute bare minimum so opting to stay outside with the guitarist seemed like the better choice.

I'm assuming you were able to make it to the Monotonix show on Saturday night -- what did you think? It was my first time seeing them live and my friend had never heard their music before but we both walked out laughing. I don't know if any of the pics or footage captured this little gem, but the shorter bartender's facial expression was ripe with utter disdain when they were playing at/on the bar.

Ride... love this band! Seeing these guys play live in a tiny club was an experience. A shimmering wall of sound. Yes, I was and still am a shoegaze freak! Other bands from that era you should check out: Swervedriver, Chapterhouse, Lush, Moose, Boo Radleys, The Telescopes, Medicine, Catherine Wheel, Slowdive and of course My Bloody Valentine.
