RIP GANG is a group of Argentine New Wave artists, made up of: Ill Quentin, Muerejoven, Dillom, Broke Carrey, Saramalacara, Taichu, Odd Mami, and Kuribo.

Taichu confirmed in an interview that the name of the group arises from the fact that every time they played somewhere, they alluded to the fact that they had broken up by using “RIP” followed by the name of the place, such as “RIP Makena”, “RIP Nicetus”, etc. Later, they took the name of RipBort, one of their filmmakers, and created the RipGang.

The group was formed in the middle of 2019 on social networks and performing at shows under that name, but it was not until October that the group became musically official.

They released their first song on Halloween 2019, entitled “Spooky”, generating a lot of commotion and visits, since there had been featurings between these artists before but never one so big and involving everyone.
