Also known as "Loveless sound", Popgaze is a sub-genre of Shoegaze that is characterized by mixing with Noise Pop to create an overwhelming wall of sound with guitars that are both ethereal and intense. As its other name indicates, this way of making music was practically invented by the band my bloody valentine with their album Loveless.
