Orchestral pop (or symphonic pop) is popular music performed with a symphony orchestra. Developing from easy-listening in the 1960s, early examples include Nelson Riddle, the 101 Strings Orchestra, and songs by Scott Walker, Burt Bacharach, and Phil Spector.
