this is hardcore punk with a more modern sound, composition and also lyrics. it become in this style influenced from nu metal to alternative rock to electronic music. Some names could be: Knocked Loose, Turnstile, The Bronx, Vein, Jesus Piece, Code Orange or Gouge Away. Lyrical themes: social issues, politics, animal liberation, veganism, pacifism, etc.
