Electro trance is a subgenre of trance music that fuses electro-funk with trance music.
It combines the 4/4 time signature, the melodic saw leads and the athmosferic pads with the rich electro basslines. Usually it's tempo is 125-135 bpm.
Along with house, trance is starting to take benefit from the electro legacy.
The style is a development of electro house when it finds the elements of trance music, however, it's often sold as electro house with the purpose of boosting the sales.
