Biography

Seraphs Coal was a Punk Rock band from Adelaide, South Australia. Formed in 1996 the band produced 2 ep's and one full length album before disbanding in 2002.

The group achieved brief national fame when their single "Hope is where the heart is" reached #1 position on Triple J's Net50. Seraphs Coal was soon blacklisted by the station for recieving countless calls and votes for the band which the station claimed the band incited.

The group called it quits in November 2002 to two sellout crowds, and one secret show a number of months later in 2003. Most members have gone onto other things outside of music, but vocalist and founding member Dan Jones is involved in a few other bands, including Stronghold Hardcore and God So Loved the World. Both of which have now disbanded.

Final lineup:
Dan Jones- Drums/ Vocals,
Sam Barnes- Guitar/ Vocals
John Garrett - Second Guitar
Andre Dumuid - Bass
