lool not this song getting the vacuum cleaner comments too even though it doesn't sound even remotely close to that

this really could go on for hours, once you're settled in..like a gliding noise trance bliss...

This track is actually a great foreshadowing of what's to come in m b v - specifically, nothing is. There are actually a lot of changes in the minutiae of the track in the bassline, the drums, and the guitars that is done in a similar fashion, albeit, to a far more subtle degree in nothing is.

agreed 100%. I have it on my glider remix E.P on vinyl ^_^ just weird the tempo is pitching up at the end, but it's like a movement of some sort, like an ascend to aural bliss/heaven

This should be playing inside supermarkets while shoppers frantically look for their groceries

Imagine the faces of the people at Creation when the band sent this song as the result of months of work

I like shoegaze. And I can take noise - noises just like this - when used sparingly for a climactic effect. See "Play" by Miranda Sex Garden. But .... this does not need to be 10 minutes long. Its like the noises cats make outside when I'm trying to sleep. Better title would have been "Vacuum cleaner scaring a cat in heat" - at least it would give me a hint that I'll be needing to press the skip button soon.

i don't really understand the anxiety comments, it's overwhelming, but certainly not anxiety provoking. the guitars are crying like a new born baby, not with pain!

i ADORE the grinding, metallic guitar sounds here. they remind me of Lou Reed's yummy "Metal Machine Music".
