@Rairun- I don't believe that Daniel Smith is singing; he's not listed as a guest artist in their Wikipedia page. The lead singer is Aaron Weiss, and to me it sounds exactly like him. I hope you like more mwY; this album is my absolute favorite album of all time and I feel that I'll never find another band that even scratches the surface of their level.

I thought it sounded like The Avett Brothers, vocally... maybe even Devendra Banhart, if you're high enough.

Ok, question. This is the first time I listen to mewithoutYou, and I really like it. But when I heard the first lines of "Every thought a thought of you", I immediately thought the singer sounded a lot like Daniel Smith. Sure enough, he produced the album. So, is this Daniel Smith singing, or are their voices just similar? The thing is, I can only see the similarity in this song.

just a quick little tidbit, in the verse where he says, "When they swear their love is real, they mean I like the way you make me feel" hes talking about the difference between true love, and loving what someone does for you. I'm sorry, but all of you people saying "I love this song, which means I like the way it makes me feel!" are really not understanding the meaning of the phrase in the very least.
