@Goblim: I was referring to pure click'n'cut glitch style, lacking the great atmosphere. There is tons of it in the electronic music underground, but I can't name outstanding artists for that particular style - I've heard a lot, but it's just not my cup of tea. BUT - I like the atmospherical stuff of m². "War Of Sound" is definitely my favourite album, pretty unique. I guess, Mootz has produced way more tracks in that manner, too bad they won't see the light of the day (except "The Darkness" on the Daruma compilation).

Hmmm... the m² stuff is strange, I don't really seem to get along with it. The click'n'cut'n'beep sounds of the early albums were pretty half-cocked and overly repetitive. Sounds like the dozens of other artists who are into this kind of style. It slowly got better with "The Bitter End", probably climaxing with what you could call the most profound (concept- and musicwise) m²-albums, "War Of Sound" and "Aswad". Then it goes down again... "The Frozen Spark", well, it's not really dark ambient, it's rather mediocre, non-innovative ambience. And "Nyx" is such a Lustmord-clone, it's almost a shame.

The two are correct. But the thing is that when I put a CD in my computer it's incode as Squaremeter like you should pronounce it. m² looks great though.
