Not sure how I feel about her new album after the first listen. Not her best but not her worst either. The uptempos are all rather good. Anyway great that she is back. Hopefully there is more to come.

I'm on track 5 and I'm quite happy with it so far, although it's hard to live up to High Street in my opinion. with a few listens I'm sure I'll love this album. I really hope she doesn't disappear again!

i'm a little bit more hopeful that she'll release an album this year, even if this seems to be another sports theme.

unfortunately it seems that "team try" was written for the rugby world cup, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for an album anytime soon. but we can dream. also, WHAT was lecca's discog doing on an EXTERNAL hard drive? lol just kidding. kind of.

she more or less announced on instagram that she's done making music. maybe if she becomes prime minister and eliminates all the plastic in japan it will be worth losing her from the music scene, but that's unlikely to happen.

she delivered once again, the album is mastered in the right way and the songs sounds clear. still supporting her, she's always giving us good albums!

i think it's not bad considering her past sales and the fact she hasn't had a single or popular song in a long time. she's doing a relatively extensive tour again this year so i think that's where her focus is now (like with most artists)

sucks for her, because she hates performing live xD but gotta go where the money is girl!

i think i saw an article where she mentioned that in the past? i saw her live last year on her best tour, she doesn't move around a lot, but you certainly don't feel like she doesn't want to be there (unlike some other artists)

"High Street". What a masterpiece! Such a flawless album. lecca has outdone herself. Her best album ever. I'm surprised. It seems the album is even mastered very well. Such an improvement! 10/10. // TOP-5: 1. GARBAGE 2. woman 3. Shinobu (忍; Patience) 4. Zanzou (残像; After Image) 5. Taiyou no Shisen (太陽の視線; Sun's Line of Sight)

v it's not about digital compression - no matter if you listened to her albums in lossless or a lossy encode - they will always sound very bad whenever and however you listen to them. And things like these fly exactly because people somehow don't notice them - although they are very audible and a huge problem for us who want to actually enjoy music and not distortion which is actually very tiring on ears and takes away so much from the listening experience. By the way, most people can't hear the difference between 320 kbps and 192 (if not less), especially on a well mixed and mastered track.

i can't hear the difference between 320 and 192, and even 192 and FLAC, but i can still hear the bad mastering Chiharo talks about. it's definitely worse in some songs than others.

vv definitely, it's a shame. On her last album the songs are only moderately reggae/dancehall influenced. Also. I'M FINALLY GETTING TO SEE HER LIVE! Two months to go, can't wait <3

↓ it always makes me happy when someone new discovers her! when I first discovered Metis I thought she sounded like Shakira, and then I discovered lecca and thought she did too lol. even though they both sound quite different.
