“Why Am I The One?” is track six on fun.'s 2012 album, Some Nights. It is about a broken relationship that is fading from its glory days, as the lovers are growing older and more tired. Mutually but secretly, the pair still wants to be together; regardless, due to a lack of communication, they are afraid that the other doesn’t feel the same and never express their true sentiments to each other.
