Before the Line

"Before the Line" is the final (not including bonus tracks) song on dodie’s debut album "Build A Problem".

During a Twitter listening party, they said this:

"O ye – this song has moments from every song in it. "Air so sweet" organ drone, "Hate Myself" gritty vocoder, "kissed someone" rain sound, "cool girl" oohs, "special girl" the lil drum sound (I played on a window), and some pitch shifted strings and voices and stuff."

"This track is me really letting it all go and looking at my brain the way I do when I’m at my worst. I think it’s the angriest song I’ve written. But it’s me being like, ‘I’m f**king alive.’ This song has snippets of every song on the album in it."
