“anxiety“ is an upbeat, R&B trap anthem by blackbear and FRND. On the track, the two artists go in detail about their anxiousness with love and their respective significant others.
The track was released as a promotional single for his 2017 album “cybersex“.
In an interview with LA Weekly, bear touched on how his anxiety affects him – and how his music is therapeutic:
“It’s insane. When I step onstage, like before I go on, I feel like I’m going to pass out from an anxiety attack. But as soon as I step onstage, it’s like I popped a Xanax. It just goes away. That’s a huge form of therapy for me.“
