The remix of the “Glue Song” was first confirmed through a TikTok post which was a snippet of Clairo’s verse.
This isn’t their first encounter as beabadoobee and Clairo have toured together in 2019 after the release of Clairo’s first album, Metal Heart.
beabadoobee said this about the collaboration on Far Out Magazine:
“I’ve always been inspired by her melodies and to finally have our voices together on a track makes me real happy. This song’s special to me, it’s a heartfelt love song and I think we related to the honesty in that.“
