Biography
The history of the band reaches back into the time when cheap records was a only a whacky idea on a dark evening in a smokefilled livingroom, somewhere in the 3rd district of vienna.
Times where tough in austria for electronic music and erdem tunakan , patrick pulsinger and constantin peyfuss got together to share a smoke, a mixer, a sampler and a couple of tapedecks to produce a multi layered collage of all the influences from extensive traveling in south america, sampling and trying to scratch the shit out of daddy`s record collection.
The first and legendary session "3.11 – eyewitness news on subfusion FM” was one of the first so called "liquid radio sessions” aired on national radio. The year was 1992 and the reaction was overwhelming.
Abuse industries released this session as well as the following CD "Mondo salsa”(94) as a limited editions, which are highpayed rareties by now.
Besides a couple of remixes for various labels, the original b.Low members teamed up with some
Musicians from the cheap universe and recorded some single tracks for the "Cheap allstars” releases and a minialbum including bonus 7”.
Occasionally you can find rare b.Low t-shirts and unbelievable videofootage on our entertainment-site.
