Arabesque was born to a Czech father (Jan Horák) and Japanese mother. He started piano at the age of three and received a classical music education. After he graduated at the top of his class from a graduate school of music in Japan, he went to Austria to further devote himself to the study of piano.
He has been composing music since his high school years, and after going through many experiences in music, he started releasing his own music as arabesque Choche since 2020.
Apart from that, he is a member of electronica group Chouchou with vocalist juliet Heberle, and folktronica duo Orcaorca with guitarist maya Kawadias. He also started a lo-fi hip hop side project called no go in 2020.
