Biography

Yanka Dyagileva (Artist: Yanka, Full name: Yana Stanislavovna Dyagileva, Russian: Яна Станиславовна Дягилева) (born September 4, 1966 in Novosibirsk - died May 9(?), 1991) was a Soviet poet and singer. She played solo and with several artsits, such as Egor Letov and Velikie Oktyabri (Great Octobers) rock band.

On May 9, 1991, she left a house in the countryside where she lived with her family and disappeared. On May 17, she was found dead in the river Inya, probably committed suicide after long depression, although this point of view was never officially confirmed.

Yanka (stylized as YANKA) is a singer under the company Global Records. She debuted in June 2015 with her single "Jungle".

Before YANKA's debut she was featured in Vanotek's song "My Heart is Gone".

In February 2016 she released her song "Skip A Little Love" which later had two official remixes released around that time period. The official remixes are MANDA Tropical remix and George Dice Trap remix. YANKA's third single, "Tell Me Lies" was released in June 2016 then her fourth single, "Never Give Up" was released in October 2016.
