Ok, it made me cry the second time I was listening to it. So pure and curing. Perfection.

Old Dreams and Memories is the first album I liked since Rigning. I don't even care that it sounds pretty much the same. It's just worked for me.

Great album stars and dust. I lost connection a bit because of his wandering in other realms but he went back to his core. Where rigning ends this one begins. Much subtle feeling, superb album.

"It is still pleasure to listen but doesn't feel like something new." Ok pet peeve time...Why does every album have to sound like something new? Usually an artist is known for having a certain sound. IMO I think Sleepygirls represents a progression of the "dreamy dub techno" sound Yagya is known for. Now if he released an album under a different alias than I would expect it to sound different and new. I don't want music released under his Yagya alias to deviate too far from what made me a fan in the first place. It is why I keep coming back. If I want something different I'll listen to a different artist. :)

Sleepygirls is a stepback for me. He used same soundscapes, sets of enviroments and everything he used making Rigning in 2008. It is still pleasure to listen but doesn't feel like something new.

New Yagya is hypnotic so far. Perfect album for casual background listening to set some ambience but it would be a mistake to classify it as simply background music. There are enough subtle details throughout that keep things interesting and break the repetition up a bit. The female vocals in some of the tracks fit the mood of the album perfectly. Nothing seems out of place and the flow/mood of the album is consistent throughout. Oh and it should be noted that the production value/sound quality of the album is very impressive. This is going to be getting tons of play in my future.
