Xou da Xuxa 3 is the fourth studio album by Brazilian singer and presenter Xuxa, released on July 11, 1988. It is the most successful album released by Xuxa, selling around 3 million and 800 thousand copies. The album, which featured hits such as "Ilariê", "Arco-Íris" and "Abecedário da Xuxa", established itself as the most expressive album in sales in the Latin American market at the time. The song "Ilariê" was number 1 for 20 weeks on the Brazilian charts, being the most played song on the radio along with "Faz Parte do Meu Show" by Cazuza. According to Jornal do Brasil, with data from NOPEM (Nelson Oliveira Pesquisas de Mercado), at the time the album reached the first place in the list of best-sellers.
Most of his songs were successful and are remembered to this day as true children's classics, such as "Ilariê", "Bombom", "Brincar de Índio", "Dança da Xuxa", "Abecedário da Xuxa" and "Arco-Íris ". Xou da Xuxa 3 is the best-selling album in Brazilian history by a female artist.
