There are at least three differents acts / bands called Workhorse.
1. Workhorse is an alt-country / indie band from Adelaide, Australia, fronted by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Harriet Fraser-Barbour. Workhorse released two full-length albums thus far: the mini album No Sun in 2017 and the full-length album No Photographs (2022).
2. Workhorse is a thrash / death metal band from California, United States, active since 2009 and fronted by singer and guitarist, Randy Olinger, and lead guitarist Jay Ditchen. Workhorse has been described as "trading in ominous heaviness for punk’s buzz-saw melodicism couched in metallic sound structures".
3. WorkHorse is a Southern hip hop artist (real name: McKinney Williams) from Mississippi, United States. The cadence of their music lends to catchy dance anthems while his delivery keeps him connected to the streets. Williams started his label Monsta Entertainment to serve as an avenue to connect Mississippi talent with a national audience. In an effort to get fresh lyricism out of the booth and into the streets, Workhorse took his own originals and presented them to DJs, hustlas, the ladies, and the hip hop heads all around Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Georgia. The response was an overwhelming show of support. The Westside Jackson, Mississippi native was nominated for four Jackson Music Awards and two Real Talk Magazine awards.
