Ambient legend William Basinski and Room40 label boss Lawrence English have released a new collaborative LP, Selva Oscura. The LP is dedicated to experimental filmmaker Paul Clipson, a close friend of both Basinski and English, who passed away in 2018. The title of the LP is taken from Dante’s Inferno, and literally translates as 'twilight forest'. According to a press release, the title describes "the nature of losing one's way in place and time".
