SZNZ: Autumn is the third EP of Weezers ongoing SZNZ project, four EPs releasing in 2022 about each Season of the year. SZNZ: Autumn released on September 22nd 2022 without any singles released. Lead Singer, Guitarist and Songwriter Rivers Cuomo described the EP as Dance-Rock inspired by Franz Ferdinand and the Strokes and portraying the Emotion "Anxiety". While most songs sound quite cheerful on the surface with many synths, the lyrics contain themes of self-hatred and seasonal depression. On September 21st 2022 the song "What Happens After You" was performed for Jimmy Kimmel.
