"Come In" is Weatherday's debut album, released in 2019 and welcomed by the indie rock community. Sputnik, the creative genius behind Weatherday, cites emo and classical music (from the Classical and Romantic era) as inspiration. Several fans assume Car Seat Headrest's "Twin Fantasy" as an obvious source of inspiration, but Sputnik denies that "Twin Fantasy" had conscious influence over "Come In." However, what should be mentioned is that the character on the album cover, Mio, derives from Sputnik's now-abolished webcomic that explores foreign identity. Sputnik's webcomic is also a huge inspiration to "Come In."

In the article, "Sonemic Interview: Weatherday/Lola's Pocket PC," Sputnik explains the gender and sexuality themes embedded in "Come In." They say, "Everything ties into letting someone or something into your personal space or consciousness, even having a second person perspective where you're 'on the other side of the door' at times." LGBTQ is an important theme that Sputnik hopes listeners will take note of.
