“Home” is the last track on the "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" soundtrack, and also the song used in the trailers and is colloquially known as the theme song for the film.
The song chronicles the plight of a black and Latino vigilante who is torn between doing what’s good for the world, and what it means to be hated by the cops both because of one’s vigilante status and one’s race and ethnicity.
Snippets of “Home” featured in the trailer for the animated superhero movie "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", which was released on Dec. 9, 2017. The full film hit theaters on Dec. 14, 2018.
