Viktor Vaughn tells a story about manipulating time and space in order to buy some cheap cocaine. Ultimately, Vaughn’s sci-fi-like efforts are foiled when he discovers that the cheap coke he purchased had been cut with weak over-the-counter white powders like lactose, aspirin, and lecithin, to name a few. The twist-ending reveals why the song is named “Lactose and Lecithin”. The song’s content and narrative conclusion are also a reflection of MF DOOM’s character Viktor Vaughn’s eagerness, greed, and inexperience as a young, aspiring villain.
