Biography
Vicky Psarakis (born June 22, 1988) is an American singer, best known as the former vocalist of Canadian metal band The Agonist. She joined the band in 2014, replacing original vocalist and co-founder Alissa White-Gluz. With The Agonist, she has released two EPs, titled Disconnect Me and Days Before The World Wept, as well as three albums titled Eye of Providence, Five and Orphans. In 2021, she launched a new band called Sicksense. She has also worked on other projects like E.V.E and Rage of Romance. Psarakis also voices Ada Wong in the asymmetrical horror video game Dead By Daylight.
Vicky Psarakis is a Greek-American singer/songwriter whose presence illuminates every project she's part of. The Juno-nominated vocalist makes it a point to place stellar songwriting and thoughtful musicianship to the forefront.
While living in Greece, Vicky began her career working with various artists as a session and touring musician in Europe.
She gained traction online by doing vocal covers for her YouTube channel which led to her joining The Agonist as their new front-woman in 2014
Fast forward to today, she has released three full studio albums, over 10 music videos and toured across the world. Their latest album Orphans received critical acclaim and earned them their first Juno nomination.
Vicky continues to work on projects outside of The Agonist including vocal covers and guest work. In 2020, she decided to take her creativity to the next level by providing her audience with exclusive content through Patreon.
She also offers a coaching program called "Beyond Vocals" where she provides vocal lessons and offers mentorship to a variety of students of all skill levels.
