PlayWithMorFeel
While I have immense respect for how daring Venom were back in the day and kinda consider them the quintessential proto-extreme metal band - it tends to sound like a parody of that genre to me. Even if the obviously humorous approach is quite liberating at times.

Idiots-Rule
Probably their best. Not for the song constructions or the songs themselves, but for the riffs. The riffs on this album are great!

The specific subgenre it most closely influenced and belongs to doesn't matter. Many metal bands of many stripes were influenced by this, Welcome to Hell and other early Venom records. What matters is that the music Venom made, particularly on this record, kicks all kinds of ass for any genre of music. One of the best of all time right here.
