I came here hoping to see someone pointing out some glimmering spotlight tracks that maybe im not catching on to but im seeing a lot of commentary that fits with how im feeling myself - this fucking sucks... Don't cover radiohead unless you're gonna do it better than them, half these dudes cant even sing.

I must have a different version or something, because mine has David Cross doing 'Fitter Happier' and a few other differences

I enjoyed most of this album pretty well. [: I realize it's not Radiohead, but that's kind of the point. I didn't love every track, but I like most of them enough to keep them.

I'm not sure if you guys are listening to the same album... Yes, there are few sparks of truly original brilliance, but this is a cover album, come on. Cold War Kids put in a good track, as do Doveman. But why all the extra love for VW? There track isn't really any better than the others ones.

I was enthusiastic about it, but it sucks so much. And everyone: "Vampire Weekend, Vampire Weekend", yeah, it's good but not enough!! Please, don't turn OK Computer into shit, burn this tribute!

Two questions: How? & Why? Firstly how can so many good bands covering such good songs be so bad at it? Secondly why on earth would you want to cover an album that has been voted the best album of all time? It's like re-writing the bible and changing the name of Jesus to Satan. PS the El Ten Eleven cover of paranoid android is much better.

Not sure what I make of this, but to 'alvereo' who negatively referred to covering something like Dark Side of The Moon - check out 'Easy Easy All Stars cover of the whole album - 'Dub Side of The Moon' - genius!

So far... only a few songs into the album... I'm kinda disappointed. I like the fact that the songs are different... But it removes what I previously loved about the songs. If I looked at them as songs, separated from the fact they're covers, I might have like them more. I like the change for the "rain down" bit in paranoid android though... Shame it didn't kick back in like the original

holy crap, just heard David Bazan's Black Clouds version of "let down", perfectly stunned by this.

I like the individual twists each artist lends to these songs. Of course, these songs can't be outdone, Radiohead is the best, but I appreciate the interpretations.

i like that on most of these you can tell what the lyrics are. i like radiohead's versions better but the lyrics sometimes get lost when you are so engrossed in the music. here the lyrics have a chance to shine because that is the genius of radiohead that is still remaining in the song since the other bands have changed the sound of the music.

shocking!...... a great song can usually translate over instrumentation. and these ideas should be tried. but i think this album falls into an exception category that somehow manages to make any cover 'artists' appear as tragically distasteful as a kurt cobain suicide note t-shirt... as someone put it further down ' An excellent idea but not particularly well executed. '...i don't think it's even a good idea and perhaps this lot should be executed : (
