Anyone who says that, in electronic terms, Colombian production is weak, is very wrong. Tracking innovative projects that appeal to different audiences, with comprehensive live proposals and a well-crafted sound, that you can feel the soul of.
This is VILAMAREA, the new project of Charlie Hurtado, Andrés Jiménez and Julián Tapias, three artists who, after many tours and comings and goings with national bands in past years, decided to take a break and move the rudder in a different direction and at a different speed.
After participating in several musical projects, a group of musicians decided to found the trio Vilamarea, a synthpop oriented formation with a strong atmospheric proposal very defined towards experimentation, the conceptual and the link between music and image. This project has been maintained and prepared in the studio, with good results with the virtual public.
A slower, more passive speed. A speed that gives us the luxury of listening and observing well. That's why these three spent a year and a half putting something together carefully, thinking about every detail, thinking of the music as an integral experience worthy of being remembered with all the senses.
