"Rainy Days" is the lead track on the EP Layover by BTS member V. The track was released on August 11, 2023, ahead of the album and a day after Love Me Again). The track falls generally alternative pop-R&B genre, harmonizing vintage and unique percussion with modern drum sounds. The track aims to enhance the sentimentality of the song by mixing V’s voice with diverse white noises in everyday life. The track tries to evoke nostalgia of a old jazz record in one certain rainy day.
