This Usher era was so damn underrated. It was something fresh from him, very experimental yet radio friendly. 100% his vocal prime.

Usher's standards have been so low since Confessions so that doesn't mean much. I would argue that it is Here I Stand though, although Climax ranks amongst Usher's best songs ever but the rest is weak run-of-the-mill EDM, yuck.

I've been a fan from the beginning when he had Faith sing backup and have bought every album. BUT this is TRASH......I don't particularly care for Tyrese, but I have to admit he was right when he said Usher has forgotten his R&B roots and has gone totally techno...... it's soooooo annoying when every song sounds the same and it's 18 tracks (who does that???). No melodies or original lyrics glad he released Climax b/c nothing else on the album is worth listening to..........
