my favourite feature of last.fm is the "No" button to the right of artist profiles such as this one which do utterly nothing except turn red forever

I have paid for the privilege of transferring my 177 scrobbles over to the correct "Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats" page. I could be listening to music instead, or having a nice wank.

I took a few years off from last.fm (because the scrobbling didn't work with my setup) - what happened to the very useful feature the site had that allowed you to suggest the merging of spelling variants into one artist? Down the drain along with all the rest of things that made the old last.fm great, I guess. These days, it seems, last.fm is but a shadow of what it used to be.

afaik they don't even have the ability to merge artists on their side yet. It's a pain. I joined in 2014 and I barely got into a lot of the features on the site before they were plucked away from me. I do enjoy using the site, though, and even if they brought back more social features I dunno if I would use them as much as, like, Discord.
