This song is embedded deep in my DNA, one of the most romantic songs ever. Inspired but not beholden to the Resnais film. I could recite the words cold, I know every note. The punk version of this song on the Slow Motion 7" is similarly amazing, but very different. Somehow we drifted off too far, communicated like distant stars...
