Ubangi is Lars "Orup" Eriksson and Cia Berg. Swedish pop-duo from the early 1980's, inspired by Devo and other arty new wavebands. Orup later had a massive swedish carreer as a solo artist. Cia Berg had great success as the first moderator of music videos in sweden on national television show "Bagen". She later married and works since in a bookstore in Sicily. She had a brief reappearance on the international stage singing in the band Whale in the nineties.
The band released two albums, Oh No, I'm Pregnant!, 1982, and Disco Baby, 1984. However, the band's greatest strength was arguably their unforgettable live performances.
