"Got Me Started" is the sophomore single from Troye Sivan's third studio album, Something to Give Each Other. Most notably the track samples "Shooting Stars" by the Bag Raiders, which was made popular in 2017 by being featured in meme videos of people flying through space. In a TikTok, Bag Raiders stated that Sivan is the first artist they let sample their hit.
It's about “remembering who you are and that people are hot” after “feeling emotionally dead after a traumatic relational experience”.
