Neo: I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

posted 04-23-2008 [1 of 2] I believe this song is about Francis Healy believing in bearing your soul on online journals, because 'I believe there's someone watching you & they are watching every single thing you say' aka Big Brother aka The Truman Show. So when you say you are suicidal on www.livejournal.com, blogs & social media, someone will try to help you by replying to your post, be it a few words of support or a whole essay. Sure throwing messages in the world wide web & infinite sea is like the 'message in a bottle' analogy metaphor, but with everyone on super fast cable/ASDL+2 internet, the task of keeping citizen lives & 'cry for attention' needs are made all that much more easier.

posted 04-23-2008 [2 of 2] This song makes me cry, yes it is sad & mournful, but whenever there is darkness, there is a spark of light (pardon the trite cliché) with the lyric: 'be still don't stop until the end'...For who knows 'one day they will discover you' & get you a book deal. Sure your book will probably end up in the bargain bin, because there's just too much information & books already published...but at least you could possibly have something to show off to your inner circle of friends & family. Not saying it's a certainty, but 'in world of infinite possibility I hope one day you will you will see'."
